I just finished "The Book Thief" my Markus Zusak and had to write up a quick post about it. It is by far the best book that I have read in years, and am so happy to be adding this to my bookshelf of keepers!
Got to read this. It is, of course, about the Holocaust, however this is told from the perspective of Germans that were not necessarily supportive of the Nazi beliefs, which sets it apart from other Holocaust books that I have read as well as made it very interesting. The writer, Markus Zusak, has a fascinating, sort of poetic style of writing and there was never a dull moment!
Hope you get a chance to read and enjoy it!
PS. No news on the baby yet. Just waiting! Due one week from today so we are very excited!
