11 months!

11 months!

Little bear, we are SO CLOSE to your first birthday and mommy is both sad and excited about that. You are such an energetic, happy, sweet and loving little boy, playing all of the time and growing up in so many ways.

Mommy and Daddy’s favorite milestone is that you are dancing, finally! Just a slight shake of the tail feather, but you are there…dancing up a storm! We are also really enjoying how much you copy your daddy and his noises, clicking your tongue when he does, squealing when he whistles and you just seem to be really absorbing and taking in everything around you! You can drink out of a straw now, “comb” your own hair, and you have dropped a bottle and added whole milk! Pretty soon you will be off the bottle! You are spreading your little baby wings, Sweet William!

We celebrated the fourth of July a few weeks ago, and boy were we busy! It was so much fun watching you wave your little flag…this is one of Mommy and Daddy’s most favorite holidays! We started by going over to the Lakewood Parade at the Theriots’, then off to the Belotes' lakehouse for the day and night, then home the next day for dinner and fireworks, (you couldn’t make it to the fireworks…maybe next year!), and then we went to the Highland Park Parade the next morning with Honey! Busy little celebrators! You were a sweet heart the whole weekend and we made so many memories!

We also went on a trip to Chicago to see your cousins this month! I can’t even explain how happy your were to be playing with them all weekend! Even despite an injury to your finger that was actually pretty serious, you had a blast!

It has been a busy month, and I know that next month will be even more exciting. As always, our hearts simply swell with joy and pride when we think of you. You are SO amazing just because you are William, and I hope you always know that!
