5 Months!

Sweet William, you are 5 months old today!

Yes, you are laying in the laundry, but I love your overalls on you so this picture had to make an appearance in this blog entry!

You are still as sweet as pie and such a good baby, only crying if you are hungry or tired, and you spend most of your time smiling at just about anything.

Your favorite parts of the day are still bath time, when Daddy sings all kinds of crazy songs to you and you squeal with delight, and when we come to get you out of the crib in the morning where you are usually kicking your legs, smiling and snuggling your little bunny that has quickly become your favorite friend. You also LOVE it when Daddy gets home from work! What fun it is for Daddy to come home to a sweet little Bear that is so excited to see him!

You enjoy walks when it is warm enough outside, and yes, those are Christmas decorations on the house and this picture was taken WELL into January.

You like feeling everything right now, and you mainly use your little finger tips and nails and scrape things. You get very excited about new textures and think grass is pretty cool...Mommy has a feeling she may become a grass stain removal expert when you are a little older!

You had your first little virus that came with a fever. Mommy thought you were just teething, but when it turned into a little cough we realized it was a virus. Daddy and I felt terrible for you because you were not a happy camper and pretty much angry when I put you down :( Poor pumpkin.

You have started eating solids. Rice cereal was not your thing, so we moved on to oatmeal, apple sauce and sweet potatoes! Up next on the menu is peas and pears! Yummy!

You continue to be a wiggly and giggly little boy, growing bigger and healthier every day and rolling all over the place. Daddy and I love watching you try to hold your own bottle and get your pacifier back in your mouth. You work SO hard at it! Your babbles, coos and giggles bring such a joyful noise to our home and we love every minute of being your Mommy and Daddy, Baby Bear!
Love, Mommy
